This is a photocopy of the Manfred Ertel's article published on German Der Speigel magazine in January, which raised big press debate in Mongolia. The President of Mongolia N. Enkhbayar was about to sue the magazine over the statement that Enkhbayar would sell a mineral deposit to a western company in exchange of US$250 million. UB Post's German-based reporter Anna Hubner contacted the author to give us a comment on the reaction. But, he refused from Hamburg to give comment. He said he has heard about the debate in Ulaanbaatar, and did not pleased about those false pretences as the Mongolian media has never made any attempts to contact him. He said he still regards himself as a journalist and not as someone defending his own firm reports and conclusions unlike a politician would do.
